Hi everyone! We are currently at capacity and are not accepting new clients.

We know these services are very important and we are actively working to bring on new technicians to expand the number of clients we can serve at Bluebird. But in order to ensure that our existing clients receive the care and attention they need, we are temporarily pausing the intake of new clients.

We will keep this status updated here. Please check in on March 1st. We do hope to open again to new clients at that time. And we look forward to seeing you in spring!

If you have been on the waitlist and have received an email inviting you to book in, please go ahead and do so! If you are a current client of ours feel free to book yourself in!

All new clients begin with an Initial Consultation. You can choose a consultation that’s right for you: either in-person or via Zoom. If you choose a Zoom consultation you will receive a Zoom invite a few days prior to your appointment. Either way, we look forward to seeing you!

Cancellation Policy: Your appointment time is held just for you. A late cancellation or no-show leaves time in the day when we could have seen another client. To help us fill all available time, we ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule a treatment, you do so giving us as much notice as possible. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

Djuna Day
(She/Her)

Bluebird was begun in 2019 by Djuna Day out of a deep frustration with the gender-normative body care and aesthetics industry in Toronto. After many disappointing experiences and after a comprehensive search for a body care clinic with an inclusive sensibility, she came to understand that if she wanted one, she was just going to have to make one. So she did, and Bluebird was born.

Djuna is a Medical Esthetician and Laser Technician. She holds a diploma with honours from the International Beauty Institute in Mississauga.

Stevie Manning
(She/Her/Hers)

Stevie came to Bluebird as a client after less-than-thrilling results at other clinics. After only a few sessions, she started asking questions about how to stay on and provide this experience to others.

She takes pride in helping each of her clients see themselves free from unwanted hair and providing for others the experience that remains very close to her heart.

Stevie writes poetry and plays music. She is an active participant and performer in the city’s queer nightlife where she finds great joy in creating inclusion and space for folks of all stripes.

Sai Meloche

Sai has lived in Toronto for most of her adult life.

She loves to skateboard, read, and play dark souls with her cat, Paris. Sai became an aesthetician as a way of working within, and contributing to her community of dolls.

She loves being able to help others feel confident and their most slay, inside and out. Sai is always looking forward to meeting new people, filming new skate tricks, and spreading trans love and joy.

Jayne Sweet

Jayne comes to Bluebird knowing just how powerful it is to be free from unwanted hair, and wanting to share the love.

With an eye for detail and a mind for new experiences, she approaches each session with calming energy and an easy going attitude. Inquisitive at heart, she loves hearing new things and unexpected perspectives from her clients while sharing her own interests in art, music, gaming, and life. She extends this mindset into spreading empathy, opportunity, and justice for her queer and trans Community.
